How to play

Slide every tile on the board at once with the arrow keys or a swipe. When two tiles with the same number collide they merge into one, and the new value is added to your score. Every move drops a fresh 2 or 4 onto a random empty cell, so the board keeps filling up. Reach the 2048 tile before you run out of moves.

Tips

• Park your biggest tile in a corner and never let a move pull it out.
• Stick to two directions, like down and left, so your rows stay ordered.
• Build descending chains such as 64, 32, 16, 8 so one merge cascades into several.
• An early game over still counts: your best score saves as you play, not just at the end.
